About the Phocis Project
The Phocis Project investigates Late Bronze Age Phocis as a regional system situated between major centers of the Mycenaean world. The project examines how communities organized settlement, resources, mobility, and resilience across a landscape often treated as peripheral to better-known palatial regions.
The current website presents the project in its early phase. Detailed research questions, methods, collaborators, fieldwork plans, datasets, and publications will be added as the project develops.
